Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa George Ayisi Boateng has said he is not ready to swallow back his words that he will give priority to New Patriotic Party (NPP) members ahead of other Ghanaians.

According to him, the criticisms are unfounded because he has helped members of the other political divide in diverse ways.

“I said nothing bad, I stand by my words, what is wrong with my statement? I have helped many NDC members including E.T. Mensah, I am not divisive, E.T Mensah can attest to it,” Boateng told Abusua Nkommo’s Kwame Adinkra on Abusua FM in Kumasi.

He said his detractors are resorting to cheap politics to score points.

According to Mr. Boateng, prioritising NPP members ahead of other Ghanaians is the right thing to do because the struggles of party supporters and loyalists won the NPP the 2016 elections.

“The job market is choked and it is highly competitive and this government is doing its best to create job opportunities [but] me, for instance, I told my people that it is NPP that is why I am in power so NPP man is my priority.

“My topmost priority is the problem of an NPP person before any other Ghanaian, take it or leave it and indeed I am not boasting,” Mr. Boateng told members of the NPP student wing, the Tertiary Students’ Confederacy Network (TESCON).

Meanwhile, Mr. Boateng has entreated NPP members who are agitating for jobs to calm down as the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo puts in measures to provide them jobs.

“Our opponents have developed some hatred for me, they don’t like me. I have decided not to comment on it again, whatever interpretations people will put on it, I am not dampened at all,” he stated.

I have great respect for the clown Mr. George Ayisi Mensah. GH Ambassador to SA. His IMMATURITY is remarkable. Amazing INFANTILE thinking.
