Former Asante Kotoko Operations Manager, Ernest Owusu Ansah has broken his silence on the reason that forced him out of the Dr. Kwame Kyei-led administration at the club.
Ernest Owusu Ansah affectionately called P-Jay handed in his resignation letter to the Management of the club about a month ago citing personal reason.
He was the third person to officially resigned from the club after Kotoko Express Editor, Jerome Otchere and his deputy, Bernard Nyankomago also resigned citing the poor handling of the club’s media outlets by the Management.
On Wednesday, P-Jay shed light on his resignation on Kumasi based Mercury FM.
“What issue? My work ethics will not lead me to have problems with [anyone]. I don’t have any issue with any Management member. Since they started pre-season I haven’t step my foot there. I was very busy and tired.
“Our Headmistress has died and she’s at the [mortuary]. I’m now running the school activities. What time will I get to go and follow Kotoko? So, my reason is personal” said P-Jay who is the Assistant Master at Kumasi Anglican Senior High School (KASS).
He promised no return to active football administration. “Returning to active football administration will be difficult, not administration only, even managerial role will be difficult. I want to concentrate on school administration” said P-Jay whose father was once Kotoko Team Manager.
