She endeared herself to her fans as a television and radio host but in recent times, Regina Krave seems to be drifting towards acting after featuring in a number of movies.
This new direction has raised some confusion among her fan base who think she is losing herself but Regina has asked them to keep their cool because acting can never be a full time job for her.
“Yeah, I do get these questions from time to time as to whether I am moving from television and radio hosting to doing movies but I’m sorry, I cannot and will not do acting full time. People should just relax for me, I am not confused at all ,” she said in an interview with Showbiz over the weekend.
She continued; “I am just doing what I love and acting has interestingly become one of them but that is it. I won’t do acting full time, it’s still a part time thing for me, yes this is just to clear the air.”
Talking about her acting experience so far, the Heels and Sneakers star who started acting about two years ago said.
‘It’s has been amazing, so far so good, I have acted in a number of movies that are yet to to be released and I still have some scripts on my table that I am yet to tackle.
“ Apart from that, I have done something on my own which will come out this year and hopefully, it will win lots of awards. Oh yes, I am sure of that.”
The actress and television host who seeme excited about the good comments she has been receiving on her acting prowess asked Ghanaians to keep them coming and criticism as well.
“I honesty appreciate the love and support from the fans out there and for the critics, I am willing to take them and work with them but one thing still stands, I am not going to do acting full time.”
Commenting on her relationship with actress Yvonne Nelson, who introduced her to acting, she said, “Yvonne is an amazing person, an adviser, a motivator and a go-getter.Yvonne and I are tight and very good friends, she is like a sister to me and that ends it,” the April star added.
Born Regina Van Helvert, Regina Krave is currently the co-host of GHOne’s Rhythmz and Live FM’s Young, Wild and Free.
Regina who recently graduated from Ghana Telecom University College where she offered Degree in Business Administration (Marketing) was first runner-up at Miss Malaika 2012.
She was nominated two years ago for Teen Choice Awards and she received a citation from Ghana Telecom University College for her hard work and contribution to society and for being a role model to other young ladies.
