Ahead of November 10 finale, multiple award-winning comedienne, ambassador for Orphans Ghana, and professional humour therapist, Afia Schwarzenegger, recently visited the contestants of this year’s Miss Nigeria Ghana at their camp.
As part of her visit, she shared her experience on the content of abusive relationship. She made it clear that women need to be strong to go through such phase and come outfit.
As part of her education, she encouraged the contestants to be bold and walk away from an abusive relationship – no matter how sugarcoated it may seem.
The pageant is designed for young Nigerian ladies who are over eighteen years and Ghanaians of half Nigerian parentage.
It aimed at organizing these young beauties towards a new order of projecting and defining Nigeria’s diverse socio-cultural heritage to the people of Ghana, thereby fostering a more cordial relationship among Nigerians and Ghanaians via the platform of general entertainment and business promotion that the pageant presents.
The winner gets a brand-new car, and over Ghc 30,000 worth of prizes to be shared among the finalists. Also, the winner of the pageant would embark on a one-year community engagement service, in a show of appreciation and a way of giving back to a very accommodating host nation, Ghana.
Tickets are still selling at Silverbird Cinema – Accra Mall and West Hill Mall, Osu’s Koala, Max Mart at 37 Bus stop and Baatsoona Total for a ‘cool’ Ghc 50 – Regular, Ghc 100 – Standard, GhC200 – Vip and GhC400 – Corporate seat.
