European giants, Bayern Munich have announced the signing of the 23-year-old Kwasi Okyere Wriedt from VfL
The 23-year-old was committed by the third-league and has now joined the Bavarian side until 2020. Wriedt will be at Bavaria II with the back “That feels good”: Kwasi Okyere Wriedt said about his move from VfL Osnabrück.
“This already feels good,” declared Wriedt immediately after his contract signature. “I am looking forward to the great challenge in Munich”, the 23-year-old is quoted on the club’s website. The offensive midfielder completed the medical check on Säbener Strasse on Thursday and Friday, signing a contract with a three-year term.
“We are delighted that Kwasi Okyere has decided to change to Munich,” said Jochen Sauer, FC Bayern Campus manager, about the new entry. “He has already gained experience in the 3rd league, but he is still a young player in which we see ample development potential,” Sauer continued.
In Osnabrück, Wriedt had a total of 39 Ligaspielee in the last two seasons, where he scored twelve times and assisted nine goals.
Previously, the 1.88-meter attacker was under contract with the Lüneburger SK Hansa and the reserve team of FC St. Pauli. Among the Hamburgers, the 23-year-old also completed part of his youth education.
The offensive man could already be used today for his new club. Wriedt will be in the stand of the Bayern reserve in the home game against the 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 (7 pm).
