Ghana’s female U-20 side, the Black Princesses, have been named in the final shortlist for the CAF Women’s National Team of the year.
The team is currently enjoying a glittering qualification process for next year’s FIFA U-20 World Cup, which has seen them score 20 goals in their four games so far against Algeria and Kenya, with only Cameroon standing between them and a place at next year’s World Cup.
The Princesses’ form in the 2017 calendar year has seen them shortlisted along with Nigeria’s U-20 team and South Africa’s Bayana Bayana.
The Awards Gala will take place on Thursday, 4 January 2018 in Accra, Ghana.
