Coach Yaw Preko eyes Black Satellites job

Ifeanyi Ubah coach, Yaw Preko has revealed his interest in taking up the next Ghana Under 20 coaching job.

The Satellites will re-assemble early next year ahead of qualifiers for the U20 African Youth Championship in Niger.

Preko who has been the deputy coach of the Satellites at two World Cup’s believes he has the right capacity to lead the team to glory next year.

“I want to be the head coach of the Ghana National Under 20 team next year and if also I get the Hearts of Oak job I will fancy it,” Preko told Metro TV

“I have been the deputy for the Under 20 and also Hearts of Oak before and I believe I have what it takes to lead any of them.”

The head coach position of the national under 20 team is vacant following the appointment of Didi Dramani as Black Queens coach.

Already names such as the best youth development coach in Ghana as well as Dreams FC manager Karim Zito has popped up for the job together with Ashgold manager and former Ghana skipper Charles Akonnor.
