Jane Awindor better known by her stage name Efya, is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and actress from Kumasi.
She is the daughter of Nana Adwoa Awindor, a filmmaker and celebrity host of the late television show Greetings from Abroad.
Efya with her voice and stage craft has won a lot of hearts in Ghana and across the globe.
One person who caught this young energetic lady’s attention is Mr Edward Agyekum Kuffour; the first son of Ex-President John Agyekum kuffour.
Edward Agyekum Kuffour has vouched for Ghanaian female songstress Efya as a good musician. According to him, though a lot of people are good and unique in their styles, he likes to watch Efya perform on any day because she is good and knows how to move the crowd.
Speaking with Nana Yaa Animah Larbi at the just ended EMY AWARDS, he stated that he loves Efya as an artist.
‘I am not being biased but Efya is good. Everybody is good in his or her own way but Efya is good,’ he said.
He made this known to Spyderlee Entertainment TV at the just ended EMY awards held at the Kempinski Gold Coast hotel in Accra, on the 24th of June 2017.
Efya was among some of the top notch performers who thrilled patrons to good music at the EMY awards. Others who also performed included Irene Logan, Osibisa, Ivorian music legend Freddie Meiway among others.
Mr. Edward Agyekum Kuffour is the second son of Ex-President John Agyekum Kuffour. He is a businessman, an actor and an entrepreneur.
