Eminem fake drug ad teases new ‘revival’ album

A mysterious advert for a fake drug called Revival has sparked rumours that its part of a complex marketing campaign for a new Eminem album.

The typeface for the drug’s name has the letter E backwards, one of Em’s signatures.

The website jokingly claims “You should discuss the potential benefits and risks of REVIVAL with your doctor or clergyman.

“REVIVAL is a non-narcotic medication intended for daily use that can be taken with or without food.”

It adds: “Tell your doctor about all health conditions, including if you: Have a history of confusion or poor judgment.”

But here’s the biggest hint surely…

“With Revival, I won’t waste my one shot,” says an actor in a short film on the website, which is a clear reference to the hip hop star’s Eight Mile classic Lose Yourself.

There’s certainly a lot for Em to rap about, based on his incendiary freestyle attack on the politics of US President Donald Trump earlier this month.

His last album was 2013’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

On Tuesday, he was awarded more than £300,000 by a New Zealand a political party who ripped off Lose Yourself for an election advert, so we hope the, ahem, Revival drug company have had the references cleared.
