Ete Dakitse performs for Akufo-Addo and family

Spyder Lee Entertainment signed recording musician, Ete Dakitse, on Thursday, 29th June, 2017 performed for the President, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and the first family at the Glam Africa Ball held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.

The event, put together by Glam Africa, in partnership with My Sisters Keeper Foundation Ghana, was to raise funds to create awareness about autism and the Autism Awareness and Training Centre.

Apart from the first family, there were several dignitaries and celebrities in attendance including Vice President, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and his wife, Samira Bawumia, Michelle Hammond, Yvonne Nelson, Ama K. Abebrese and Joselyn Dumas.

Others were Sulley Muntari, Derek Boateng, Zynnell Zuh, Belinda Dzattah and more.

My Sisters Keeper Foundation is founded by the three daughters of President Akufo-Addo namely Gyankroma Akufo-Addo, Valerie Obaze and Edwina Akufo-Addo.

The three sisters have come together to put the spotlight on autism and support scores of children on the spectrum cared for at the Autism Awareness Care and Training Centre (AACT) in Accra.

Born Ete Komlan Dakitse-Benissan in the Togolese capital, Lome, the musician is widely known across the francophone African music space for his exceptional delivery and vocal dexterity.

He put up an exciting performance on the night which was received with a standing ovation and unending applause from the audience.

Ete Dakitse will be releasing his maiden album titled: ‘L’amour Vrai’ (True Love), with singles such as ‘British Lady’ and ‘Love By Nature’ already receiving heavy rotations on several platforms.
