One of the world’s greatest boxers, Floyd Mayweather is set to tour Ghana from 15-16 June as part of his “Undefeated Tour” of Africa.
Mayweather is expected to hit Accra on June 15 from Nigeria. In Accra, he will pay a courtesy call on the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs in Dodowas for an interaction with the traditional leaders of the region before he continues his tour to other places in the nation’s capital.
Mayweather will also be in the capital of the Ashanti Region, Kumasi, where he is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II and donate to a yet to be named orphanage.
Mayweather’s visit to Ghana according to organisers of the trip will help boost Ghana’s economy considering the tourism potential it brings to Ghana and will also boost the boxing industry.
