Ghanaian attacker Kwame Karikari has signed a three-year deal with Qatari giants Al-Markhiya.
Karikari, 21, completed the move to the oil-rich club from Ukrainian Club Stal Kamianske on Monday.
Reports from Ukraine were that the Ghanaian had attracted interests from many clubs following his splendid show for Stal Kamianske.
But the Qatari side had the better bite luring the Ghanaian attacker after he scored 12 goals in Ukraine in the just ended season.
He becomes Al-Markhiya’s first official signing ahead of the new season.
Karikari becomes the second Ghanaian to feature for the club after ex-Ghana international Abdul Karim ‘Golden Boy’ Abdul Razak who also managed the club.
