Kenyan pastor, Paul Mackenzie is being accused of organ trafficking after dozens of bodies were found in shallow graves without vital organs. Mackenzie, 50, brainwashed his followers to starve themselves to death so they can meet Jesus.
The former taxi driver turned evangelist shares striking similarities to American cult leader Jim Jones. He also convinced 900 of his followers to move to a remote jungle in Guyana and commit mass suicide using cyanide mixed with cool aid.
The pastor is now facing multiple charges including, murder, aiding suicide, abduction, genocide, and crimes against humanity. Kenya’s President, William Ruto has pledged to crack down on extreme religious practices in the country. The death toll is currently at 200 with over 600 still missing including 300 children.
