Hardly will you see an outfield player from the Ghana Premier League in recent past, playing in a competitive or friendly game for the senior national team, the Black Stars, even though they are being invited by the coaches.
Samuel Sarfo is not the first player from the Ghanaian league to feature in a game for the Black Stars and will not be last either, but his story from a Police guard on duty to the Black Stars and becoming a member of the team is worth writing.
