Blame GFA for Aduana’s abysmal performance – Nathaniel Asamoah

Striker for Aduana Stars, Nathaniel Asamoah, has blamed the abysmal performance of his team on the delay to kick start the Ghana Premier League.

Speaking on OTEC FM’s Royal sports, Asamoah said his team didn’t perform well enough in the match against Es Setif at Dormaa last Wednesday because they had not played in competitive matches.

“The delay of the league has definitely had an effect on us, because the more you play competitive matches the more you gain more playing fitness” Asamoah revealed

“Whiles we were lining up friendly matches, Es Setif was also playing in their local league, they played against their league leaders and beat them one goal to zero, so it boosted their confidence before coming to Ghana” Asamoah said.

“We all know playing in the league is much different than playing friendly games. So this delay has really affect our team” he added

Aduana Stars would leave Ghana for Algeria on Sunday to lock horns with Es Setif in the second leg of the CAF Champion league on Thursday, March 15.
