Asante Kotoko SC have been fined an amount of GHc5000 for the misconduct of their supporters in respect of the Ghana Premier League match against Accra Hearts of Oak in Accra.

Fans of the Porcupine Warriors were involved in misconduct during their match-day 8 League game against their rivals at the Accra Sports Stadium.

A controversial penalty call by referee Samuel Sukah left the supporters of the Club angry as they threw objects and bottles of water on the pitch at the blast of the final whistle.

Their action have led the disciplinary committee of the FA to fine them GHc5000.

Kotoko will play Hearts of Oak on Monday to commemorate Ghana’s 60th Independence Day anniversary.
