Madrid ‘interested’ in sensational Salah

It always seemed likely that the electric performances produced by Mohamed Salah since his summer arrival at Liverpool would catch the eye, and it is reported that Real Madrid are doing plenty of looking.

Egypt international Salah is the Premier League’s top scorer, and his national team boss, Hector Cuper, says that he has “received confirmed news” that Madrid are keen to move for the 25-year-old.

It is reported that La Liga champions Madrid “are looking for new additions after an uninspiring start to the campaign” that has left them fourth in the table after several below-par performances.

It adds that “with Gareth Bale still struggling with injury, Salah could prove a more than worthy replacement” for the Wales international winger.
